Update (13 Oct 2026): deadline extended to 28 October 2026 per LSG corrigendum 03/2026.
If you’re looking for a government job in Rajasthan without needing a degree, this is genuinely one of the biggest chances this year. The Local Self Government (LSG) Department, Rajasthan has opened applications for 24,752 Safai Karamchari posts on contract across 183 Urban Local Bodies — and the last date is 28 October 2026 (extended from 13 October per LSG corrigendum 03/2026 dated 12-Oct-2026).
Here’s the part that surprises most people: there is no educational qualification prescribed. You need Rajasthan domicile and one year of sanitation work experience in an Urban Local Body. That’s it.
