Exam Yesterday, Answer Key Today — Punjab Moves Fast
Talk about turnaround. The PSSSB Clerk (Common Cadre) written exam happened on 11 October 2026 — and one day later, the provisional answer key for Sets A, B, C and D is already live on the board’s website. Even faster: the objection window opens today, 13 October, and it runs only till 15 October, 5 PM. That’s a three-day window, and one of those days is already half gone. If you wrote the exam, your review starts now.
This is for Advt. No. 02/2026 — 531 Clerk posts in Punjab. And the objection process here is a little unusual: it’s not the typical paid-challenge portal module. PSSSB is taking objections through an online form, with documentary proof — and then wants a hard copy of that form to physically reach the board. Miss either half and your objection may not count. Details below.

How to Raise an Objection — The Exact Drill
Read this twice, because the two-step format catches people out. An online submission alone isn’t the whole job here:
- Go to sssb.punjab.gov.in and open the notice titled “Provisional Answer Key (Set-A/B/C/D) for the written Exam Dated 11.10.2026”.
- Download the answer key set you attempted (A, B, C or D) and compare it question by question against your own marked answers.
- Open the official objection link — PSSSB is collecting objections through an online Google Form linked on the board’s site. Fill one form per challenged question.
- Attach documentary proof for each challenge. A standard textbook reference, an official document, something citable — the same rule as everywhere: clean, cited arguments get read; vague complaints get ignored.
- Submit the form within the window — 13 to 15 October, before 5 PM on the 15th. Late submissions won’t be entertained.
- Send the hard copy. Print your submitted form with the proofs attached and get it to PSSSB by speed post or by hand so it reaches by 20 October 2026. Posting on the 20th isn’t enough — it has to arrive.
That last step is the one to underline. Plenty of candidates will nail the online form and forget the physical copy — don’t be one of them. And if this drill feels familiar, it should: we walked through a similar deadline discipline in our SSC Selection Post Phase-14 answer key post, where the window closed at 4 PM sharp with no mercy for latecomers.

The Fee Question — Read Before You Assume
Here’s something worth flagging honestly: the notice details reviewed don’t state a per-question objection fee. Many boards charge one; PSSSB’s notice for this key doesn’t spell it out in the material available. So don’t assume a fee — and don’t assume there isn’t one. Check the official notice on sssb.punjab.gov.in for the fee, if any, before you submit. We’d rather tell you to verify than invent a number that turns out wrong.
After You Object — What Happens Next
Once the window closes, an expert committee reviews every objection. Accepted challenges correct the provisional key, and then PSSSB publishes the final answer key — which cannot be challenged. Nobody reopens it, no second round. The result is computed on that final key. Neither the final key date nor the result date has been announced yet, so treat any dates floating around on social media as speculation.
The selection stages after the written exam are the typing test, document verification and medical — qualification per the notification being graduation with English and Punjabi typing at 30 wpm plus a computer certificate. If you’re confident about your written score, there’s no harm in keeping your typing speed sharp while the key gets finalised. We’ll track the final key and result in our Answer Key section — the same place we followed the Rajasthan SET 2026 answer key through to its result stage.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the last date to raise objections against the PSSSB Clerk answer key?
15 October 2026, till 5:00 PM. The window runs from 13 October (today) to 15 October 2026. On top of that, the hard copy of your objection form with proofs must reach PSSSB by 20 October 2026.
2. How do I submit an objection?
Through the official online form (Google Form link on sssb.punjab.gov.in) — one form per challenged question, with documentary proof attached. Then print the submitted form with proofs and send it by speed post or by hand so it reaches PSSSB by 20 October 2026.
3. What is the objection fee?
The notice details available don’t state a per-question fee. Check the official notice on sssb.punjab.gov.in for the fee position before submitting — don’t rely on third-party claims.
4. When will the final answer key and result be released?
Not announced yet. The expert committee first reviews all objections, then the final key is published and the result is computed on it. Any dates you see online right now are speculation.
5. Can I challenge the final answer key?
No. Once PSSSB publishes the final answer key after the objection review, it is final — there is no provision to challenge it. That’s exactly why this 13–15 October window is your only shot.
