Answer Key 2026

JKSSB AGC Barber Answer Key 2026 Out – Offline Objection, Rs 200 Per Question

Short Information: JKSSB released the provisional answer key for AGC G-II / Barber G-III (21 Oct exam, Advt. 07/2025) — objections offline only, three working days from 22 Oct, 11 AM–5 PM, Rs 200 per question by demand draft.

Read this before you assume you can object online. You can’t. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the provisional answer key for the Attendant General Cadre (AGC) G-II / Barber G-III examination — and the objection drill is offline, in person, with a demand draft, and it only runs for three working days. Miss the mode, miss the window, and your challenge simply doesn’t exist.

The facts, stripped of noise: the OMR-based written examination was held on 21 October 2026, the provisional key notice is dated the same day, 21 October 2026, and objections opened on 22 October 2026. The key covers all four question-paper series — A, B, C and D — with questions 1 to 120 in each. If you sat this exam under Advertisement No. 07 of 2025 (Item Nos. 25 and 26) for the Health and Medical Education Department, this is your key.

How to Check the Key Without Tripping Over Your Own Series

This is the easiest mistake in the whole process, and it costs people real marks in their own estimates. The same question sits at a different option position in each series. Checking your answers against the wrong series column gives you a score that means nothing.

  1. Go to jkssb.nic.in and open the notice titled “Provisional Answer Key for the OMR Based Written Examination for the post of Attendant General Cadre (AGC) G-II / Barber G-III”.
  2. Download the PDF and go to Annexure A — that’s the key itself.
  3. Find the series printed on your own question booklet: A, B, C or D.
  4. Match your marked OMR responses only against that series, question by question, 1 to 120.
  5. Work out your estimated score, but remember: this key is provisional. It can change.

And a word on that estimate — don’t treat it as your result. If an objection is found correct, the key is revised for all candidates, not just the person who filed it. Your score today is a working figure. The final key is the one that counts.

The Objection Drill, Step by Step

Here’s where JKSSB differs from almost every other board we’ve covered lately. Our JKSSB Driver answer key post from 20 October followed the usual online route, and the CG SET key from yesterday is online too. This one isn’t. Read every line below before you travel.

  • Where: JKSSB office, Muthi, Akhnoor Road, Jammu — or JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar. In person, hard copy only.
  • When: Three working days starting from 22 October 2026, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day. The notice does not print a single calendar close date — it says three working days — so do not wait for the last day to find out what counts as one.
  • Fee: Rs 200 per question, by demand draft in favour of the Accounts Officer, J&K Services Selection Board. The fee is refundable if your objection is found correct.
  • Form: Use the prescribed proforma, Annexure B, attached to the notice. One form per question. If you put more than one question on a form, only the first one will be considered.
  • Proof: Attach documentary proof in hard copy for every challenge. A bare claim won’t survive.

Annexure B asks for more than most online forms do, so have it all ready before you go: your name, exam name, advertisement number, application number, roll number, exam date, exam centre division (Jammu or Kashmir), correspondence address and mobile number, demand draft number and date, your 16-digit bank account number and IFSC code, the question number and series, your objection in your own words, the supporting material, and the option you consider correct — plus date and signature. The bank details are there because a correct objection gets its fee refunded. Fill them carefully.

Two more rules that are easy to miss: objections sent by any other mode will not be entertained, and no candidate will be informed individually whether their objection was accepted. You find out when the final key appears. That’s the deal — file it properly, keep your copy, and watch jkssb.nic.in.

A final caution before you set off: only challenge answers you can actually prove wrong. The Rs 200 fee is refundable when you’re right, but it’s gone when you’re not, and a stack of hopeful objections helps nobody — least of all you. Pick the questions where your textbook or official source clearly contradicts the key, file one clean Annexure B form for each, keep a photocopy of everything you submit, and note the date, time and office where you handed it in. That paper trail is your only record if anything is ever queried.
