Cleared Tier-I? Your PET Hall Ticket Is Out — And the Clock’s Already Running
If you made it through the DSSSB Tier-I written exam for Assistant Superintendent (Post Code 32/25), here’s your next move: the PET admit card is out on the official portal. And look at the calendar — the Physical Endurance Test is scheduled for 17–18 October 2026. That’s days away, not weeks. Download your hall ticket today, check your reporting time and venue, and start planning your travel now.
This one’s for the 93 Assistant Superintendent posts in Delhi Prisons under Advt. No. 02/2025. Roughly 932 candidates were shortlisted after the Tier-I marks and cut-off notice of 5 October 2026 — so the field is already narrow. Don’t let a missed download or a late arrival be the reason you fall out now.
How to Download the PET Admit Card
The e-admit card is available only behind your candidate login — there’s no public PDF floating around. Shortlisted candidates only. Here’s the exact route:
- Go to dsssbonline.nic.in — that’s the official application portal, and it’s where the PET e-admit card link lives.
- Log in with your candidate credentials (the same ones you used for the application and Tier-I admit card).
- Find the PET e-admit card link for Post Code 32/25 — Assistant Superintendent — on your dashboard.
- Download the admit card and read every line. Check your PET date (17 or 18 October), reporting time, and venue carefully.
- Print it. A physical copy plus a valid photo ID is your entry ticket — screenshots on your phone won’t cut it at the gate.
Stuck at the login? Don’t be that candidate who discovers a password problem at midnight before the test. Log in now, sort out any issue today, and keep a backup printout somewhere safe. If you’ve done this drill before — say for the RRB Section Controller CBT — it’s the same discipline: download early, verify everything, travel a day ahead if the venue’s far.

Who’s Running? The Shortlist Story
Quick recap of how we got here. The Tier-I written exam ran from 1 to 7 July 2026. DSSSB then issued the Tier-I marks and cut-off notice on 5 October 2026, and around 932 candidates were shortlisted for this PET. Only those shortlisted candidates can download the admit card and appear — if you didn’t clear Tier-I, the portal simply won’t show you a PET link.
With 93 posts and roughly 932 candidates at the physical stage, the ratio is about 10 candidates per post before the physical test even begins. The PET is qualifying in nature — but qualifying is everything here. Miss the standard by a second and you’re done, regardless of your Tier-I score.
The PET Events — What You’ll Face
These are the physical standards from the official notification. Know your numbers before you show up:
| Event | Male | Female |
|---|---|---|
| Race | 1600 m in 6 minutes 30 seconds | 800 m in 4 minutes 30 seconds |
| Minimum height | 165 cm | 157 cm |
| Chest (unexpanded–expanded) | 81–85 cm | — |
Train to the standard, not to your best day — the track on test day is never as kind as your practice ground. Hydrate, sleep properly the night before, and don’t try anything new on race day. New shoes on PET day is a classic way to ruin months of preparation.
Exam-Eve Checklist — Don’t Leave These to Luck
The PET is unforgiving about logistics. Your race time won’t matter if you’re stuck in a document queue at the gate. Night before, sort these:
- Printed admit card + original photo ID. Aadhaar, voter ID, driving licence, passport — whatever the admit card lists. Keep one photocopy of the ID too.
- Two recent passport photos, the same as the ones on your application. Boards ask for these more often than you’d expect.
- Report well before your reporting time. Gates close at the printed time — “five minutes late” is the same as absent in physical tests.
- Proper running gear. Broken-in shoes, comfortable clothing, nothing new. Eat light, hydrate, and skip the heavy meal the night before.
- Read the instructions block on the admit card once more. Prohibited items, venue rules, the exact entry gate — small print, big consequences.
One more thing: screenshot your admit card details as a backup, but never rely on the screenshot alone. The printed copy is what the staff at the gate will ask for.
