Answer Key 2026

UKPSC High Court ARO Answer Key 2026 Out, Objection Till 20 Oct

Short Information: UKPSC has released the provisional answer key for the High Court Assistant Review Officer, Assistant Librarian, Translator and Typist Exam-2025. The General Knowledge key covers series A, B, C and D, and objections are open online from 14 to 20 October 2026 at Rs 50 per question.

If you sat the Uttarakhand High Court exam back in May, your wait just got a lot shorter. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the provisional answer key for the Assistant Review Officer, Assistant Librarian, Translator and Typist Exam-2025 — and yes, the “2025” in the name is the recruitment cycle, not a typo. The exam itself was held on 19 May 2026.

Here’s why you shouldn’t sit on this one. The objection window opens today, 14 October, and closes on 20 October 2026 at 11:59:59 PM. That’s seven days, and the commission has already made it clear: late objections won’t be considered, unpaid ones won’t be considered, and anything sent by email or post won’t be considered either. So if something in the key looks wrong to you, this is your one shot at getting it fixed before the final key is drawn up.

One more thing worth knowing upfront. This is a provisional key. It can change. The score you calculate today is an estimate, not your result — useful, but not final.

What’s Inside This Answer Key

The key covers the General Knowledge paper, and it’s published separately for all four question-paper series — A, B, C and D. Your series is printed on your question booklet, so match it carefully. A Series A answer against a Series C question number means nothing, and it’s the easiest mistake in the book.

Now, the part that deserves your attention: the key marks three questions as deleted in every series. Twelve question entries in total across the four series. Here they are:

Series Deleted question numbers
Series A 30, 57, 166
Series B 3, 112, 183
Series C 61, 132, 152
Series D 36, 107, 127

What does “deleted” mean for your score? Honestly, the notice doesn’t say. It doesn’t explain why these questions were dropped, or how the marks for them will be handled. Don’t assume anything — wait for the commission’s next notice, or for the final key, before treating those questions as settled either way. If one of the deleted questions is one you got right, that’s frustrating. If it’s one you got wrong, don’t celebrate yet. Seriously.

How to Download the UKPSC Answer Key

  1. Go to the official website, psc.uk.gov.in.
  2. Look for the entry for “Asst. Review Officer, Asst. Librarian, Translator & Typist in the Establishment of High Court Uttarakhand, Exam-2025” — it lists the notification, the provisional answer key, instructions and the online objection link together.
  3. Open the provisional answer key PDF for General Knowledge.
  4. Find the table for your question paper series (A, B, C or D).
  5. Compare each answer in the key with the answers you marked, and work out your estimated score.
  6. Save or print the PDF. You’ll want it again when the final key comes out, so you can see what changed.

How to Raise Objections Against the UKPSC Answer Key

Found an answer you can prove is wrong? Here’s the drill, step by step:

  1. Read the commission’s instructions first. They’re published on the official website alongside the key. The objection form follows those guidelines, not anyone else’s.
  2. Open the Online Answer Key Objection link on psc.uk.gov.in. This is the only channel that counts.
  3. File one objection per question. Pick the question number and the series, state the answer you believe is correct, and describe the objection clearly.
  4. Attach supporting evidence. Every objection has to be backed by proof — a standard textbook reference, an official document, something the commission can actually verify. A bare “this feels wrong” won’t survive review.
  5. Pay Rs 50 for every question you challenge. Unpaid objections are not considered, full stop.
  6. Submit before 20 October 2026, 11:59:59 PM. The portal closes when it closes. Don’t leave it to the last evening and then blame the server.
  7. Keep your submission proof. Save the acknowledgement or receipt. If anything goes sideways later, that’s your evidence that you filed on time.

Two things the notice doesn’t spell out: the accepted payment methods, and the evidence file format. If the portal gives you trouble on either front, check the instructions page on the official site before you pay — and don’t use any third-party “help” link that asks for your login details.

Don’t Waste Your Rs 50

Objections cost money, and the commission isn’t refunding anything — the notice says nothing about refunds. So a little discipline goes a long way:

  • Challenge only what you can prove. One solid, evidence-backed objection beats five hunches. The review panel reads documents, not feelings.
  • Never send objections by email or post. The commission has said plainly that objections through any other mode will not be considered. It’s online or nothing.
  • Double-check your series before you file. Objecting to the wrong question number because you read the wrong series table is an expensive, avoidable mistake.
  • Don’t copy someone else’s objection blindly. If a coaching centre’s list is circulating, verify each question yourself against a real source. Your money, your responsibility.

Every commission runs its objection drill a little differently, by the way. Punjab’s PSSSB, for instance, asked candidates to file online and send a hard copy by post — miss either half and the objection didn’t count, as we covered in our PSSSB Clerk Answer Key 2026 post. UKPSC keeps it simpler: online only, fee paid, evidence attached. Still, the deadline discipline is the same everywhere. Remember the SSC Selection Post Phase-14 key? Its window shut at 4 PM sharp, no extensions, no mercy. Treat 20 October the same way.

What Happens After the UKPSC Provisional Answer Key Window Closes

Once the window shuts on 20 October, the commission reviews the objections and decides which ones hold up. Accepted corrections go into the final answer key, which is what your result will actually be based on.

When will that final key appear? Not announced yet. Neither is the result date. That’s normal at this stage — the commission can’t set a result date until it knows how many objections it has to work through. Keep an eye on psc.uk.gov.in rather than rumour threads, and check our Answer Key section for updates as they land.

In the meantime, the smart move is boring but effective: calculate your estimated score from this provisional key, note which answers you’ve challenged, and start preparing for whatever comes next in the selection process. The candidates who use this waiting period well are the ones who aren’t scrambling when the result drops.

FAQs

Is the UKPSC High Court ARO answer key out?

Yes. UKPSC has published the provisional General Knowledge answer key for the Assistant Review Officer, Assistant Librarian, Translator and Typist Exam-2025 on its official website, psc.uk.gov.in, as per the notice dated 12 October 2026. It covers all four series — A, B, C and D.

What is the last date to raise an objection to the UKPSC answer key?

The last date is 20 October 2026, up to 11:59:59 PM. The window opened on 14 October 2026. Objections filed after the deadline will not be considered.

How much is the fee for objecting to the UKPSC answer key?

The fee is Rs 50 for each question you object to, and each objection must be supported by evidence. The notice does not mention any refund, so assume the fee is non-refundable.

Can I send my answer key objection by email or post?

No. The commission accepts objections only through the Online Answer Key Objection link on its official website. Objections sent by email, post, or any other mode will not be considered.

Some questions are marked deleted in the key. What does that mean?

The key marks three questions as deleted in each series (for example, questions 30, 57 and 166 in Series A). The notice does not explain why they were deleted or how the marks for them will be treated. Wait for the commission’s clarification or the final answer key before drawing any conclusions about those questions.
