3. Download the result PDF and open it in your browser or a PDF reader.
4. Press Ctrl+F (or use your phone’s find option) and type your full Mains roll number.

What Phase 3 Actually Looks Like

Clearing Mains gets you to the interview stage — but SBI PO Phase 3 isn’t just one interview. It’s three parts, and they test very different things.

Psychometric Test (31 October, tentative). This is a personality-profiling exercise, not a marks-based test. Answer honestly. Trying to game a psychometric test is the fastest way to look inconsistent, and interviewers can see the profile before they meet you.

Group Exercise (20 marks). You’ll work through a task or discussion with other candidates. The panel watches how you listen, how you build on others’ points, and whether you can move a group towards a conclusion without steamrolling it. Talking the most is not the same as contributing the most.

Personal Interview (30 marks). Expect questions on banking and financial awareness, current affairs, your academic background, and why SBI. Know the bank — its recent numbers, its schemes, its role — cold.

Your Mains marks count for 75% of the final merit (after normalisation) and Phase 3 for 25%. So the interview stage can genuinely change the final order. A strong Mains score helps, but it doesn’t let you coast.

Documents to Keep Ready Right Now

Don’t wait for the call letter to start gathering papers. Get these in order this week:

• Printout of the Mains result PDF (or at least your roll number saved somewhere safe).
• Educational certificates — Class 10, Class 12, graduation degree and marksheets.
• Valid photo ID proof.
• Category certificate, if applicable, in the format SBI asked for.
