Applied for re-evaluation after the June exams? Your revised marks are out.
The Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP) released the re-evaluation result for the June 2026 examinations on 12 October 2026. If you asked for your answer sheets to be checked again — after the even semester, annual or special back paper exams of May–June 2026 — you can now see whether your marks moved, and whether a backlog paper just cleared.
One thing to know before you check: re-evaluation is a full re-check of the answer sheet, not just a totalling exercise. That means marks can go up, come down, or stay exactly where they were. All three outcomes are normal. Let’s look at what each one means for you, and what to do next.
Short Information
The Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP) has declared the Re-Evaluation Result 2026 for the even semester, annual and special back paper examinations held in May–June 2026. The re-evaluation result was released on 12 October 2026 on the board’s official website, bteup.ac.in. Students who had applied for re-evaluation — registrations ran from 14 to 24 August 2026 — can check their revised marks and qualifying status by entering their enrolment number and date of birth on the result portal. The result link is titled “View Result of re-evaluation June – 2026”. The board has also announced results for 194 students who were facing cases of unfair means (UFM) during the May–June 2026 examinations. For some subjects, digital re-evaluation is still in progress in government and aided institutions — if your result isn’t showing yet, that may be why.

Re-Evaluation vs Scrutiny — Not the Same Thing
Students mix these two up constantly, so let’s clear it up.
Re-evaluation means your entire answer sheet is assessed again — the examiner goes through your answers afresh. That’s what this result covers.
Scrutiny is narrower: it checks totalling, unmarked answers and marks not carried over to the award list. It doesn’t re-judge your answers.
Because re-evaluation is a fresh assessment, your marks genuinely can move in either direction. A paper you felt was under-marked may pick up marks. A paper where you were lucky the first time may lose a few. Neither outcome means the board made a mistake — it means a second examiner read your answers with fresh eyes.
How to Check the BTEUP Re-Evaluation Result 2026
- Visit the official BTEUP website at bteup.ac.in.
- Click on the Result option in the menu bar.
- Find and click the link titled “View Result of re-evaluation June – 2026”.
- Enter your enrolment number and date of birth, then click Search.
- Your revised marks and qualifying status will appear. Download the PDF and save a copy.
Checking on your phone? Keep your enrolment number ready to paste — typing a long enrolment number from memory on a small screen is where most typos happen. And if the portal is slow, retry in the evening; result days bring heavy traffic.
What Your Result Means — Three Outcomes
Marks increased. Good news, obviously — and it may clear a backlog paper you were carrying. Check whether your qualifying status changed, and confirm the update with your institute’s examination cell so the tabulation register reflects it.
Marks decreased. Harder to swallow, but it happens. If a decreased score changes your pass status in a paper, talk to your institute about your options — including the next back paper form window — rather than assuming nothing can be done.
Marks unchanged. The second assessment agreed with the first. Plan your next step around the carry-over or back paper, and keep your fee receipts and acknowledgement numbers handy.
In all three cases: compare the revised marks against your original scorecard line by line, and download the updated result. Don’t rely on memory — or on a screenshot someone else posted.
Result Not Showing Yet?
Don’t panic. The board has said digital re-evaluation is still going on for certain subjects in government and aided institutions, and results for those students will be released once the process completes. If your paper is one of them, your result will simply appear in a later round. Keep checking the BTEUP website rather than trusting rumour lists.
One more thing: if you spot a genuine error — wrong name, wrong enrolment number, marks that don’t match the PDF — report it to your institute and to BTEUP. The board hasn’t published a separate grievance window for this cycle in the sources checked, so your institute is the right first stop.
