Checked your roll number yet? If you sat the RPSC Senior Teacher exam for Hindi or Social Science, your wait is over — at least for this round. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has put out the written-exam result for two subjects so far, and the Hindi list landed just yesterday, on 13 October 2026.
Here is the part most people miss, though. This is not the final selection list. RPSC calls it a provisional list for eligibility checking. Your roll number being on it means you have cleared the written stage and your documents still need to pass scrutiny. It does not mean an appointment letter is on its way.

Which Subjects Are Out, and Which Are Still Pending?
As of now, the official RPSC results page shows two entries for this exam. The Hindi entry is dated 13 October 2026, and the Social Science entry is dated 9 October 2026. Each subject got two PDFs: the main result preamble with cut-off marks and the provisional list, plus a separate list of disqualified candidates. If you are a Hindi or Social Science candidate, you should be looking at your own subject’s PDF, not someone else’s screenshot.
What about everyone else? English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi and Gujarati results had not appeared on the official results page at the time of writing. That is normal for this recruitment — RPSC releases these lists subject by subject. Seriously — do not fall for forwarded PDFs or social-media posts claiming your subject’s list is out. If it is not on the official RPSC results page, treat it as unverified.
RPSC Senior Teacher Grade II Result: What the Provisional List Really Means
Think of this list as a shortlist for checking, not a final merit list. RPSC has published the roll numbers of candidates who scored at or above the cut-off in their subject and category, and who now move to eligibility checking. Your documents — degree, B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training, category certificate, age proof, and everything else the notification asked for — will be matched against what you claimed in your application.
Why does that matter? Because a mismatch can knock you out even after a good written score. A wrong category claim, a degree that does not match the subject requirement, or a certificate that is missing or expired can all cause trouble at scrutiny. So finding your roll number is step one. Getting your paperwork in order is step two, and it is the one people tend to leave too late.
Vacancy Breakup: 9,651 Posts Across 10 Subjects
When this recruitment was first notified on 17 July 2025, it advertised 6,500 posts. RPSC later revised the total to 9,651 through a corrigendum:
| Subject | Vacancies |
|---|---|
| Mathematics | 2,076 |
| Science | 2,031 |
| English | 1,956 |
| Hindi | 1,577 |
| Sanskrit | 1,323 |
| Social Science | 600 |
| Urdu | 71 |
| Punjabi | 14 |
| Sindhi | 2 |
| Gujarati | 1 |
| Total | 9,651 |
Mathematics and Science together account for more than 4,100 of the posts. Hindi, with 1,577 posts, is the largest of the language subjects — and it is the one whose result has just come out.

How to Check Your RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Result
You do not need any login to see the list. RPSC has published it as an open PDF. Here is the clean way to check it:
- Open the official RPSC website at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Go to the Results section — the direct page is rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/results.
- Find the entry for your subject. For Hindi, look for the 13 October 2026 entry titled “Result Preamble and Cutoff Marks (Provisional List for Eligibility Checking) for Sr. Teacher (Sec. Edu.) Comp. Exam – 2025 (Hindi)”. For Social Science, look for the 9 October 2026 entry with the same wording.
- Open the PDF and use Find (Ctrl+F on a computer, or the search option in your phone’s PDF reader) to search for your roll number.
- Check the cut-off marks given in the same PDF for your category, and confirm which list your roll number appears in — provisional or disqualified.
- Download the PDF and keep a copy. You will want it later, and result pages do get buried under newer notices fast.
If your roll number is not there, read the PDF’s notes before concluding anything. Cut-offs are category-wise and area-wise, so a friend from a different category clearing the list does not tell you much about your own chances.
What to Do After You Find Your Roll Number
First, take a breath. Then get practical. Pull out your original documents and check them against the notification’s eligibility conditions for your subject: your degree with the relevant subject, your B.Ed. or equivalent training qualification, your caste or category certificate if you claimed reservation, your age proof, and your photo ID. Do not wait for the scrutiny notice to discover that a certificate is missing or that a name is spelt differently across two documents.
Second, keep watching the official RPSC site for the scrutiny or detailed-application notice. RPSC had not announced the scrutiny schedule in the result entries at the time of writing, so any date you see floating around elsewhere is unconfirmed until RPSC posts it.
Third, keep your admit card and application printout safe. You may need both during verification. This is the same habit that pays off in other big recruitments too — candidates who tracked the Bihar Police CSBC Constable final result will remember how quickly the conversation moved from “is my name on the list?” to “are my documents ready?”
Cut-Off Marks: Where to Find Them
RPSC has published the cut-off marks inside the same official PDFs as the provisional lists, broken down by category. We are deliberately not reproducing a cut-off table here, because the figures differ by subject and category, and the only version that counts is the one in your subject’s official PDF. Open the PDF for Hindi or Social Science, find the cut-off section, and match it against your own category.
One useful habit: when you check the cut-off, note whether your category’s figure is for the TSP or non-TSP area, if that split applies to you. Mixing up the two is an easy mistake.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Do not trust a result screenshot on its own. Screenshots get cropped, edited, and recycled from older cycles. The official PDF is the only source that matters, and it takes less than a minute to open. Do not pay anyone who promises to “confirm” your selection or move your name onto a list — RPSC does not work that way, and anyone asking for money for it is running a scam. And do not assume that a provisional list is the end of the road. The final merit list comes only after eligibility checking.
If you are still waiting for your subject, use the time well. The pattern is familiar from other large teacher recruitments — results come subject by subject, and the gap between them says nothing about your score. For a sense of how final-stage updates usually unfold once a provisional list is out, the SSC CHSL 2025 final result update on this site shows the same rhythm: list first, verification next, final merit after that.

Questions Students Are Asking
1. Is the RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Result 2026 out?
Yes — for two subjects. RPSC has released the Hindi result on 13 October 2026 and the Social Science result on 9 October 2026, both on its official website. Results for the remaining subjects have not been released yet.
2. Is this the final merit list?
No. The lists released so far are provisional lists for eligibility checking. They shortlist candidates for document scrutiny. The final merit list will follow only after eligibility checking is complete.
3. How can I check my RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher result?
Visit the official RPSC Results page, open the PDF for your subject (Hindi or Social Science), and search for your roll number with Ctrl+F or your PDF reader’s search option. No login is needed.
4. Where can I find the cut-off marks?
The category-wise cut-off marks are published inside the same official PDF as the provisional list for your subject. Check the cut-off section of your subject’s PDF and match it to your category.
5. What comes next after the provisional list?
Document scrutiny / eligibility checking. RPSC had not announced the scrutiny schedule in the result entries at the time of writing, so keep checking the official website for the detailed notice rather than trusting dates shared elsewhere.
6. My subject’s result is not out yet. What should I do?
Wait for the official release. RPSC is publishing these results subject by subject. Do not trust unofficial PDFs or screenshots for unreleased subjects — verify everything on the official RPSC results page.
