RPSC 2nd Grade Sanskrit Result 2026 Out – 1,426 Shortlisted, Form 29 Oct

Short Information: RPSC 2nd Grade Sanskrit Result 2026 out 23 Oct — 1,426 provisionally shortlisted for 1,323 Sanskrit posts. Detailed form 29 Oct–4 Nov at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

If you’ve been refreshing the RPSC site since July, here’s the news you’ve been waiting for. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released the provisional result for Senior Teacher (Grade-2) Sanskrit, and 1,426 candidates have made it to the eligibility-checking list. Not the final merit list, mind you — but if your roll number is on it, you’re one real step closer to a classroom in Rajasthan.

The Sanskrit paper was held on 14 and 15 July 2026, part of the Senior Teacher Competitive Examination 2025 (Advt. No. 07/2025-26). The answer key followed on 28 July. Now, three months on, the commission has published the provisional list along with the cut-off marks on rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. And the clock is already ticking on the next step: the detailed application form opens on 29 October and closes on 4 November. Miss that window and the shortlisting won’t help you.

Who Made the List? Area-Wise Breakup

RPSC has split the shortlist the way it always does — Scheduled Area and Non-Scheduled Area. Here’s how the 1,426 break down:

Area Shortlisted
Scheduled Area (TSP) 39
Non-Scheduled Area (Non-TSP) 1,387
Total 1,426

Two things in the official notice are worth knowing. First, 367 candidates were declared ineligible because they left more than 10% of the questions unanswered on the OMR sheet — the paper gives you five options per question, and leaving too many blank costs you the result itself. Second, one roll number (3206515) has been kept in a sealed cover because of a pending civil writ petition before the Rajasthan High Court at Jodhpur. If that’s you, your result waits on the court, not the commission.

How to Check Your Roll Number in the PDF

Don’t hunt through the PDF page by page. Do this instead:

  1. Go to rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and open the “News and Events” section on the homepage.
  2. Look for the link titled “Result Preamble and Cutoff Marks (Provisional List for Eligibility Checking) for Sr. Teacher (Sec. Edu.) Comp. Exam – 2025 (Sanskrit)”.
  3. Download the PDF, open it, and press Ctrl+F. Type your roll number.
  4. Found it? Save the PDF and take a printout. You’ll want it when the verification round comes around.
  5. Check the cut-off for your own category and area only. A cut-off from another category tells you nothing about your chances.

What Happens Next: The Detailed Form

Here’s the honest answer to the question every shortlisted candidate is asking: no, this isn’t the final selection. The provisional list means RPSC found you eligible for checking. The final list comes only after your documents are verified. So the detailed form matters — a lot.

  1. Log in with your SSO ID on the RPSC recruitment portal.
  2. Go to My Recruitment, then Detailed Form Cum Scrutiny, then Apply Now.
  3. Fill the form carefully between 29 October and 4 November 2026. The window closes at 11:59 PM on 4 November.
  4. Submit, then print at least two copies of the submitted form.
  5. Get your originals ready with self-attested copies: degree, B.Ed or equivalent education qualification, caste/category certificate if applicable, domicile, and photo ID. The Secondary Education Department, Bikaner, will notify the verification schedule and venue separately.

Seriously — don’t leave the form for 4 November evening. Portals slow down, logins fail, and RPSC has never been known to extend a detailed-form window out of sympathy.

A Quick Recap of the Recruitment
